Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally funded program serving children age birth through 3 years. The SRCDS pre-k program serves children that turn 2 years by September 1 of the current school year. Our program is funded to serve 40 children through EHS. All EHS classes are located at TR Jackson Pre-K Center, in Milton.
Head Start (HS) is a federally funded program serving children that turn ages 3 and 4 years by September 1 of the current school year. Our program is funded to serve 220 children through HS. All HS 3 year old classrooms are housed on the TR Jackson campus. HS 4 year old classrooms are located at TR Jackson Pre-K Center, Jay Elementary, Central School, Berryhill Elementary, Bagdad Elementary, East Milton Elementary, and West Navarre Primary.
Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a State funded program for all children that turn age 4 years by September 1 of the current school year. Our program has limited space for VPK students in our 4 year old Head Start classrooms . Exceptional Student Education (ESE) - Pre-K ESE is a program for children age 3-5 years that have developmental delays that may impact learning. Contact the School Districts Pre-K ESE Program for more information.
